Kate Perry

Kate joined Perth Cat Hospital in 2023 as a Veterinary Nurse, bringing with her valuable experience gained from working in multiple veterinary practices across Perth. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Wildlife Biology and completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2018 at South Metropolitan TAFE. In 2026, she stepped into the role of Practice Manager, where she combines her clinical experience, leadership skills, and passion for delivering gold standard patient and client care.

With a special interest in anaesthesia and analgesia (pain management), Kate is dedicated to ensuring every feline patient receives the highest standard of care.

Although she grew up with dogs, Kate’s life took an unexpected feline turn and she is now a self-confessed “crazy cat lady”! When it comes to favourite patients, Kate admits she has a soft spot for ginger cats, although she insists she’s only slightly biased.

Not one to shy away from the less glamorous side of nursing, Kate is known for enthusiastically tackling jobs that others might avoid, including ear cleans and anal gland expressions.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending quality time with her beloved cat, binge-watching her favourite TV shows or getting lost in a good book.
