About TJ van Aarssen
Registered Veterinary Nurse and Marketing Coordinator
After completing their Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and Fear Free Certification in 2024, TJ joined the team with several years of hands-on animal care experience. While they love all animals, cats hold a special place in their heart having grown up with them, and working in shelters fostered their passion for feline behaviour and enrichment. TJ has a strong passion for animal welfare and strives to provide considerate care for your kitty’s emotional state throughout their entire vet experience.
Outside of work, TJ enjoys doing anything creative from photography to music to furniture restoration!
They took on the role of Marketing Coodinator in 2026, allowing them to blend their nursing knowledge with their passion for creative design to connect with the cat-loving community and share our clinic’s story.
TJ has two beautiful rescue cats, fluffy tortie Frank and smoke tabby Howl (pictured)
