Due to her special interest in behaviour, Dr Ebony has attained Fear Free accreditation and is passionate about creating positive experiences for her patients when they visit the hospital. Through this interest she was also awarded a national scholarship for veterinary behaviour and completed a Masters project in the field.
While she is a cat lady through and through, Dr Ebony is currently unable to live with cats as her beloved rescue dog Mae is frightened of them. As such, she really looks forward to her daily kitty-fix at the hospital! In her spare time, Dr Ebony enjoys reading, gardening, and playing computer games.

Dr Ebony enjoys all aspects of feline general practice however she has a particular enthusiasm for the fields of internal medicine, behaviour, and anaesthesia. In particular, she has a special interest in the treatment of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and finds caring for these patients throughout their long period of treatment extremely rewarding. She also greatly enjoys senior medicine, cardiology, nephrology, and endocrinology.

Dr Ebony is in the process of publishing her first paper in a veterinary journal and is passionate about furthering the field of veterinary medicine. She enjoys being involved in clinical studies and continuing education and is always studying something!
